Latest News:

Hi Everyone!!
Its nice to finally have the website up and running for almost a year now!!  www.donhaddockmusic.com looks pretty good!!  I'll be making improvements and updates as I go along, but for now I hope you enjoy your visit.

The latest news is that I am now working with a recording engineer Robert Maule, who is starting to help me to re-record the best of my songs from the 1st 2 albums, as well as work with me on recording and producing my new material.  I have 10 new songs completed and we are beginning work on these as I speak.  This is a big help!!  Robert is very talented and makes my music sound much more "professional" than what I have done on my own.  It's nice to have him share his talent and musical skills....

I am also getting together every  Saturday afternoon with 3 friends/ fellow musicians (A Drummer, Bass Guitar, and Lead Guitar) to play all my songs in a live jam.  This is very fun!!  I wouldn't call us a band yet, but that may transpire in the future!!

For those of you who are interested, both of my CDs and individual songs are for sale right here on the link to my Reverb Store below,  or on both Amazon.com and I-Tunes. Just go to either site and type "Don Haddock" into the search bar and you'll be viewing my music.  You can purchase the CD if you like, or buy individual MP3's which seems to be a popular choice. Please check them out.  I also have some copies of both CD's if you want to buy them directly from me and save shipping charges etc..

On the promotional front, my song "Something to believe" was featured as part of the Americana Collection on Triplestrand Radio.  www.tspcountryradio.com/index.html
My songs are featured in the most recent shows which is;  "21.tspamericana99" and "21tspamericana100" in the dropdown play list. I'm featured towards the end of the program around the 40 min. mark.  I hope you'll check it out.  There are a lot of talented musicians feature in this hour long program, and I want to thank  "Dixie" the Program Director for putting me in such good company.

Also, for those of you who missed it, I was one of the featured musicians on the "Kingwood Kowboys Country Songs: Part 2 at:
 www.prx.org/pieces/60570-kingwood-kowboy-s-country-songs-part-2#description.
On this show, I composed 2 songs from the lyrics of the great country lyricist Larry W. Jones called: "Touch Her" and "Yodeling Old Hobo"  I also received an e-mail from Larry who sent me the lyrics to another song he would like me to compose and sing on his next radio show  Part 3.

Well, thats about all for know.  I'll continue writing and working on the new material for a future 3rd album. I also posted some of my lyrics on this site as was suggested by a couple of my fans.
Please share with your friends my music, and support Independant musicians like myself by buying and listening to our music. Thanks so much for dropping by :-))

Best Regards,

Don Haddock
